Pin the “tail” on the world?

Want to get your kids involved in prayer in a fun way?  Try this version of the children’s game “Pin the tail on the donkey”.  Blindfold one child in front of a large world map.  Spin them around and then have them pick a place on the map (if they hit water, have them try again).  Remove blindfold so they can discover what country or state they picked.  Use the internet to find more information about the country if you don’t know much about it.  You could even find missionaries currently in that country you can pray for.  The book, “Operation World: The Definitive Prayer Guide to Every Nation”, is a great resource as well.  If you don’t have a map, use a globe – spin it and have the child stop it randomly – pray for that country!  See how prayer can be fun and interactive for your whole family!

  • I like this. Is there a place to go on the internet to find missionaries in a specific country?

    • You can google “missionary in Uganda” or whatever country and find different organizations and missionaries in that country. You can also search for mission agencies. They often have prayer guides for different locations.
